Testing distance should be 5cm-15cm for accurate result — with Lotlot Estanislao.
most forehead thermometers are usually dual mode, so be sure it is on the Forehead Body Temperature mode.. — with Lotlot Estanislao.
Also, if the reading is too low like 33 deg C, it is maybe on the SURFACE TEMPERATURE MODE..the operator maybe hit the MODE button after he turned ON the forehead thermometer, converting it to Surface Temperature mode..
if naka Surface mode po siya, pindutin lang po ulit yung MODE Button so you can bring it back to Forehead Tempearture Mode..so i can give more accurate reading

test distance should be 5m-15 cm , but i understand the fatigue of those people doing the scanning..so they usually measure at a farther distance..it will give lower readings.. but to be honest, they are doing fine because, it should serve really as for scanning... then if the reading is like 38 deg C then you are in doubt now.. then you should measure the person again using more accurate thermometer like ear thermometer ET-100B or digital fever thermometer,,
