ESD BRUSH (CONDUCTIVE brush- toothbrush style)
The handle of the antistatic electronic brush is made of conductive polypropylene handles and conductive fibres consisting of 40% polypropylene, 45% polyamide and 15% carbon fibre and its brush is made of antistatic plastic. Such brush has the features of antistatic, stable performance and easy to use. The removal of the dust and dirt on the surface of PCB plate and sensitive parts can discharge the static electricity to the ground. These brushes avoid any static build up and existing charges are reduced more effectively if operators are grounded. Resistant to high temperature.
The brushes are approved to BSEN 61340-5. (test result : Resistance= 10^5 to 10^7 ohms)
Resistant to high temperature, sweep surface dirt of PCB and sensitive element, discharge the arisen static to the ground. Suitable for use in clean, washing and package area.
- Remove static of computer and program control exchanger to protect equipment
- Remove static before check and commission electronic products and boards
- Remove static before ex-work package of electronic products
- Used for package and connection of whole machine
- Remove dust and static of material in warehouse
- Used for incoming examination of re-package of SSD elements
- Removes dirt on PCB or other sensitive components, and discharges the static electricity to the ground.
- Brushes minimize static charge generation and dissipate ESD charges to ground when held by grounded personnel
- Dissipative polypropylene black handles are able to remove charges to ground
- Resistance of conductive fibers: 103 - 104 Ω
- Resistance of dissipative handle: 105 - 108 Ω
- Firm bristles are mainly for electronics, especially circuit boards

- Bristles are a mix of conductive synthetic yarn and horse hair
ESD Handbook TR20.20 Table 1 lists under Typical Static Electricity Sources "Brushes (camel/pig hair and synthetic bristles)." "It should be understood that any object, item, material or person could be a source of static electricity in the work environment. Removal of unnecessary nonconductors, replacing nonconductive materials with dissipative or conductive materials and grounding all conductors are the principle methods of controlling static electricity in the workplace, regardless of the activity."
