Our process for making long life soldering tips involves advanced techniques in electroplating, heat treatment and mechanical processing, which is improved by strong innovation to meet new challenges & market needs. Manufacturing Process:
1. The process starts with stock high-grade copper bar which is machined to produce the required shape and size.
2. Then the tip will be plated with iron, to assure its longer life span. After iron plating, the tip point will be measure & re-machined if needed to assure precise working surface area & angle.
3. Next, nickel plating is applied. Nickel plating is for protection against corrosion. 2x or 3x electroplating cycle is done depending on the types of soldering tips.
4. The last step is applying layers of tin on the solder tip to give good joint result to provide efficient heat transfer.
5. Then finished soldering tips will be measured again using precise measuring equipment & will be packed accordingly.

900 M-T-I Fine point tips. Popular for SMD work.
900M-T-LB Fine point tip with extended reach. Popular for SMD work.
900M-T-S4 High thermal mass tip. Use for fine work adjacent to ground planes, heat sinks etc.
900M-T-SB High thermal mass tip. Use where more visibility is required.
900M-T-SI General purpose tip. Short reach for maximum heat transfer.

Chisel Tips:
900M-T-0.8D 0.8mm chisel tip.
900M-T-1.2D 1.2mm chisel tip.
