968 keys functions and the iron setting:
1. Power on:
Press * key, the acquiescence temperature is 350deg C.
2. Set temperature:
Press the * key for once when the power is on. The LED will display the twinkling value of set temperature, then press + or – key to adjust the temperature you need. The temperature will goes up or down 5 degC when you press once. After 5 seconds (or press the * key for twice), the iron will go back to work, the temperature setting will be finished. The value you set will be saved and won’t be affected by power on or power off.
3. Temperature calibrating:
When the power is on, and the temperature is constant, test the real temperature by thermometer (We recommend the 191 thermometer), press the * key for twice, then input the value of real temperature and press * key for once or after 5 seconds the iron will go back to work.
For example:
The set temperature is 350deg C, but the real temperature is 380deg C, then press the * key for twice, the LED will display shining 350℃, press + key and set to 380deg C (Every one press the temperature will goes up 5degC), press * key (or after 5 seconds) the iron will go back to work, then finish temperature calibrating.
4. Turn off:
Keep press the * key for 3 seconds, the iron will turn off automatic.
Troubleshooting guide:
Warning: Disconnect the power plug before servicing. Failure to do so may result in electric shock. It must be replaced by the manufacture or similarity qualified person to avoid personal injury or damage to the unit.
Problem 1: LCD no display! - Please check the fuse inside.
Problem2: LED can display, but no heating! - Please check the heating element.
